The Foreclosure Proceedings...

Hey Folks!!

I haven't really blogged about what's going on in the land of foreclosure. Well the foreclosure actually did take place. I am still living in the property just packing up and getting ready for moving out. (As soon as I get a few days off) But on Friday I called the law firm that handled the proceedings to see how many days I had to vacate the property. They told me there was paper work that I should be expecting and that I had 30 days from that date. I am also concerned about what the property was sold for, will I have to pay the remaining back, and what about taxes on the property? I have been searching for books and articles, and sites on surviving foreclosure but there just isn't much out there. If anyone in blog land knows of any resources please refer them back to me.

Thanks guys

Mi$$

You will most likely have to pay the remaining balance on your house. THe amount that your house sold for, versus the amount you owed on your loan is usually known as the deficiency judgment that you will still be liable for.
