OOOOHHH HOOOOO!!!!!

VICTORY IS MINE!!!!

So tonight, I was able to finally flex some of those financial muscles that I have been learning from all of my fellow bloggers and I am ecstatic!! So I was looking at my best buy bill and noticed at the bottom of the statement it read Next month you will be charged an annual fee of 59.00. AND I WAS LIKE WHAT THE FLOODPUCKER??? I DON'T EVER REMEMBER THIS BEING STATED??? So I picked the phone right on up and called the company, and the first person I got on the phone was a young man. So I explained to him that I was a valued customer, my bill is always on time, I contact them if there is a problem and I would like to see if the fee could be waived. The Young man said to me " I'm sorry there is nothing that we can do you either have to pay that fee or you can close your card" So I said "that is fine, I will close the card, I hate to leave the company but I will do that" So he then said he had to transfer me to his manager to make that happen.
So then I get the manager and I explain to her the sittuation, and tell her that I would honestly like to keep the card (especially with the foreclosure closing a card would not be good right now, but didn't tell her that), I just didn't think I should have to pay the annual fee. The lady went on to explain how the fee is because they report monthly to the credit bureaus and a whole bunch of YADDA YADDA. And I stopped her right there and said, in the past 3 months, since I had paid down my card. My FICO hadn't sent any updated info based on that card, So I already knew she was selling me a load of crap!! And after I said that, she said I WILL WAIVE THE FEE AND IT WILL BE POSTED ON YOUR NEXT STATEMENT!!!

I WAS SO HAPPY!!!!!! I HAD FLEXED MY FINANCIAL MUSCLE AND WON A SMALL VICTORY!!!! SO BEST BUY -0 Mi$$-1!!!
